Joel Markland
President
Joel Markland is the President at BCA Environmental Consultants. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and has worked in the environmental consulting industry since the mid-1990’s. Mr. Markland joined BCA in 2008 and brings extensive experience in marketing and project development for environmental consulting services. Mr. Markland works with clients to develop appropriate strategies to address their needs, and he is passionate about building partnerships and growing relationships with clients. Over the past several years, Mr. Markland has focused on project development and business management and has overseen the steady growth of BCA.

John Kilmer
Vice President
John Kilmer is the Vice President of Technical Services where he manages BCA’s Investigation & Remediation Group. He also provides technical support for all of BCA’s consulting services. He holds a B.S. in environmental science and chemistry from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in environmental engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Master Level, and has over 30 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Mr. Kilmer has been with BCA since 1997 and has provided environmental consulting services to thousands of clients across the United States. John is responsible for providing technical oversight and expertise for all of BCA’s Compliance Services Group projects. Finally, Mr. Kilmer has served as an expert witness and provided technical litigation support for legal cases involving environmental contamination and compliance.

Tony DeMarco
Vice President
Tony DeMarco is the Vice President of Consulting Services and is responsible for BCA’s Compliance Services Group. He earned his B.S. in Environmental Science from Manchester College and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. Tony has been with BCA since 2010 and works to develop strong relationships with BCA’s compliance clients while continuing to provide the personal and professional services that BCA clients have grown to know and expect. Mr. DeMarco is passionate about developing creative, innovative consulting services that maximize the benefits clients’ realize when working with BCA.
