Wastewater Certified Operators

If your facility has a pretreatment industrial wastewater permit, then your facility may have a wastewater certified operator, if your facility has a treatment facility.

EPA Ruling on GHGs in Truck Emissions

On August 16th, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a final rule on more stringent truck emissions, primarily greenhouse gas emissions.

Ethanol: 10 ppm Sulfur

The EPA’s Tier 3 rule for Sulfur content in fuel were finalized three years ago. The Tier 3 rule requires the ethanol industry to meet the new 10 ppm standard by January 1, 2017.

Focusing on Section E

Section E of most Indiana Air Operating Permits contains federal air rules and air standards that pertain to your facility. The most common standards included are subparts from National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) or New Source Performance Standards (NSPS).  It is very easy to overlook Section E.
