Brownfields
Brownfields are abandoned closed, or underutilized industrial, commercial, or municipal properties. Since the 1990’s, BCA has provided consulting services to facilitate the reuse of brownfield properties. We help clients identify environmental liabilities and develop solutions to foster redevelopment. BCA understands that each brownfield property is unique in both challenges and potential. We collaborate with our clients to develop a strategy to maximize brownfield reuse benefits while minimizing the risk of liability.
Numerous loan and grant funding opportunities exist which can provide some or all of the financial assistance needed to investigate and/or clean up brownfields. These funding sources are essential to triggering investment and stimulating economic growth. BCA is an industry leader in funding development and has helped fund hundreds of brownfield redevelopment projects.
